Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

Day 17 -- Heading Home

Day 17 -- Heading Home

Viroth's made its own very welcome make-up accommodation to our group by allowing us to use a suite until 6 p.m. on the day of our late-evening departure. It was a gesture we really appreciated and allowed us to enjoy a long, relaxing day at the hotel. Well, except for Holly, who left early on Monday. But hey, thanks again, Holly!

Dave was more ambitious than Glenn, Mary or me and hired a tuk-tuk for half a day. He visited a silk farm and the war museum and has this to say about those two attractions: ___________

I slept late, had a nice long swim, finished a book by the pool, got a fabulous avocado facial and head massage for $28, and met the others at the hotel restaurant at 5 for an early dinner before hitting the airport. We said a slightly emotional goodbye to Samart (well, Mary, Samart and I were slightly emotional).

Then we headed home. (And there are four more words containing more airplane time than anyone could ever want.)
